Overview

Keigo Ramen & Katsu Sta. Maria stands as a heartfelt Japanese dining spot tucked along Governor F. Halili Street in Santa Maria, Bulacan. Known primarily for their ramen and katsu offerings, this place brings comforting Japanese flavors to a growing audience looking for a reliable meal in the area.

The main draw here is undoubtedly the ramen. The Tantanmen and Hakata ramen receive consistent praise for their rich, savory broths and well-balanced flavors. Though some find the noodles a bit sticky at times, the overall experience of the soup's depth and hearty toppings remains appealing. The Spicy Tonkotsu provides a mild heat that suits those easing into spiced ramen, featuring a slightly thickened broth that leaves a memorable taste.

Aside from ramen, Keigo’s katsu and rice meals hold their own. The Katsudon is notably large and flavorful, delivering a satisfying meal that customers return for. Tonkatsu and gyoza also rate high, making it an ideal spot for diners who appreciate authentic Japanese comfort food beyond just noodles. The karaage is well-liked despite some perceptions of smaller serving sizes, balancing crispiness with good seasoning.

While the food shines, the space itself receives mixed reviews. The ambiance at the Sta. Maria branch is simpler and less cozy compared to their Malolos counterpart. However, the staff is welcoming, adding a friendly layer to the dining experience despite the understated interior. This makes the restaurant suited for casual groups or noodle enthusiasts who prioritize taste over atmosphere.

Keigo Ramen & Katsu appeals mainly to those craving traditional Japanese fare in Bulacan. It serves as a practical choice for ramen lovers and fans of hearty katsu dishes, offering a menu diverse enough to invite repeat visits. Whether you come for a quick bowl of flavorful ramen or a filling katsudon meal, the brand delivers consistent, savory comfort grounded in Japanese culinary roots.

Food was great, if they could work on their interior that would be great.

Best ramen in Bulacan. This place is not as cozy as the Malolos branch, but it serves the same comforting flavors of ramen. Go for the Tantanmen and Hakata ramen. Karaage is also good, although serving size has gotten smaller. My friends love the rice meals like tonkatsu and gyudon but I'm a ramen person and their ramen is legit.

One of the best Katsudon! Big serving, very flavorful. Been here twice, didn't disappoint. Tonkatsu and gyoza too.

I enjoyed their ramen. I ordered the Spicy Tonkotsu and it was not too spicy for me, just right. I got intrigued by the soup because it was a bit “malapot” but I like how it tastes. Not an expert of ramen but I think I’ve tasted better noodles in other ramen house though. We also had their cheesecake. It wasn’t the cheesecake I expected, it was more like super moist sponge cake but I like how it surprised me given that I’m not a super fan of cake. The ambience is okay. The staffs are friendly. All in all, I enjoyed my first time and I could see myself coming back to try their other menu.

The Ramen was Chewy and there are instances that the Ramen noodles stick together. The Broth was savory which is good. The Chicken Curry lacks flavor compared to the other food Ramen places that i have experienced which has full curry flavor.

It looks a little.. boring on the outside. But it was cozy on the inside. Crews were polite and accommodating. Food was surprisingly great! Though their ramen didn't come with tamago, you can add ajitamago for 48pesos, and it was amazing. Love that ajitamago. Their ramen was also great, I liked the Keigo ramen better. I'm just not sure why it felt weird on the mouth afterwards, like my lips were covered with fat? But it didn't look too oily. Not sure where that came from but all in all, great exprience and wouldn't hesitate to come back.
